Pre-school Admissions

As you may be aware the date for applying for your child's ante pre-school/pre-school funding is in January 2017.

When the nursery receives the relevant forms from the council they will be forwarded to you as soon as possible.

At Summers Nursery we are able to provide your child with the education required for these important years whilst also providing wrap around care.

We can receive funding for a maximum of 15 hours 50 minutes per week throughout school term times.

Due to working in partnership with the council the nursery is entitled to educational benefits which include:-

 -  Working closely with Principal Teacher to create an annual action plan for continuous improvement

- A fully qualified teacher who attends on a regular basis throughout the term providing a wide variety of activities for the children, also providing staff with help and advice on planning and any new relevant up to date training that may be required

- Staff are offered a wide and varied range of training to apply for on a regular basis ensuring excellent personal progress for all educating practitioners in the team.

To learn more about the Pre-school funding and how we incorporate the Curriculum for Excellence into our daily routine in the 3-5 room we are inviting you to our Curriculum for excellence evening being held at Summers Nursery on Thursday the 19th January at 6.15pm.

We hope to see you there.

Nursery Manager.
